Description
Description
Up for auction is a scarce continental Europe 1976 compilation LP often known as “Drive In / 20 Power Hits” on Arcade with Negram credits (Netherlands distribution).
KISS collectors’ note:
• The back cover credits “KISS – Rock and roll all nite (live)” and does not say “from Alive!.”
• This copy actually plays the original 1975 studio version (from Dressed To Kill), making it a true mispress/mismatch (sleeve says live → audio is studio).
• Sleeve also shows Negram crediting (Arcade’s NL partner), confirming this is the Netherlands/Benelux variant rather than a UK-only issue.
Details
• Label/Imprint: Arcade with Negram credit (Netherlands/Benelux distribution)
• Year: 1976
• Format: LP, Various Artists compilation (“Drive In / 20 Power Hits”)
• Highlight: KISS – “Rock and Roll All Nite” — sleeve says (live), disc plays studio cut (mispress)
• Other artists on cover: Bay City Rollers, Tina Charles, Showaddywaddy, Parliament, Angel, The Drifters, Gary Glitter, etc.
• Notes: Back cover also states “original Casablanca recording.”
Condition
• Vinyl: [your grade here, e.g., EX / NM-] — play-tested; no skips, clean playback.

Why it’s special
The live single became the worldwide hit in ’75/’76, so comps normally used the live master. This Netherlands/Negram mispress with the studio audio is a scarce variant — in 30–40 years of collecting, I’ve never handled this exact mismatch before.
