Description:
Up for sale is a highly prized, 100% complete 1976 US First Pressing of KISS - The Originals triple vinyl set on Casablanca Records.
This specific copy features the highly collectible, original blue and tan "desert scene" labels (without the later "Records & Filmworks" branding text), indicating it is part of the limited first production run.
Finding a true first press with all original inserts intact and pristine is a major rarity for die-hard collectors.
Insert & Extra Condition Details (All Near Mint):
KISS Collector's Cards: Full sheet of 6 original fact-file trading cards. Completely unseparated and unpunched with flawless edges.
KISS Army Iron-on / Sticker: Original, completely unused sticker in stunning Near Mint condition.
History Booklet: The exclusive 16-page collector's edition history booklet is flat, crisp, and intact.
Printed Inner Sleeves: All 3 original inner sleeves are in Near Mint condition with excellent structure and vivid color.
Vinyl & Jacket Condition:
Vinyl (Media):
Near Mint (NM). All 3 records look beautiful with a high-gloss, mirror-like finish. They show virtually no signs of play wear and have been incredibly well-preserved. I played the records once to listen, and once to record to another format after I purchased the album set.
Outside Gatefold Jacket: Good (G). The structural integrity of the heavy gatefold jacket is intact, but it exhibits a bumped top-right corner and a visible bend on the top-right side. Please reference the photos to see these aesthetic wear points clearly.
Seller Terms, Packing & Return Policy:
Fragile Vinyl Shipping: To safely prevent seam splits during transit, all 3 vinyl records will be placed behind their respective inner sleeves inside a secure poly bag. The outer jacket and pristine inserts will be bundled together with structural cardboard filler pads.
Mailer: Shipped via a heavy-duty, dedicated multi-LP record mailer to prevent any edge damage or further bending.
Returns:
Sold strictly As-Is due to the high collector value of the intact, unused inserts. Returns are generally not accepted, but you are completely protected by the eBay Money Back Guarantee if the item does not arrive exactly as described and pictured.
