I bought this mystery  album new in 1976 a couple of the songs sounded very much IMO  like the Beatles ,the album and song's are credited to Klaatu and the rumours was it might be a reunited  Beatles under a different name while different radio stations was getting a lot of calls from people thinking it might be the Beatles and requesting the album to be played It caught on and Capitol records was soon taking advantage of the hype and releasing a press release that helped fuel the rumours with people thinking it might be the Beatles.  In 1978  The Carpenters done a cover version of one of the songs on the album titled " Calling Occupants "  The one song "Sub Rosa Subway" sounds very much like the Beatles circa 1968/1969. Viewing the picture the plastic wrap on the jacket is visible.
