KLEENEX Ü b/w You (Rough Trade RT 014) John Peel Swiss Wave 1st Pressing MINT!
RARE original Swiss first pressing of Kleenex`s second single "Ü" b/w "You", released on Rough Trade Records (May 1979).
One of Switzerland`s most renowned contributions to the punk-rock/new wave scene, the all-girl group Kleenex (later: Liliput) were heavily endorsed by John Peel - and for good reason.
Includes the visually stunning cover and label design by the renowned Swiss graphic artist, Peter Fischli (of Fischli/Weiss). This is the last copy, no more after this one.
GRADING:

MINT(-) RECORD, perfect. Played exactly once for audio assessment only. Straight from old store stock!

This single stems from a small collection of 7" pearls picked up at the closing-down sale of a local record store. All singles are from old store stock and have been in (dry, safe) storage since the store owner originally acquired them from Rough Trade UK distribution at the time of original release, i.e. in 1978 and 1979!
This might well be the last time you see these items in MINT UNPLAYED condition - so please bid wisely and with confidence!
