Description
Otto Klemperer conducts Brahms's Symphony Nr 1 with the Philharmonia Orchestra. This is UK Columbia stereo SAX 2550, a blue silver label by HMV/EMI from its golden age. The silvery stereo sound is excellent, with the sound vivid and beautifully "concert hall" natural.
This was auditioned with a Goldring 1042 cartridge, and Sennheiser 600 headphones/Epos ES-25 speakers. The thick, shiny record looks good, and it plays with some soft tics, which really didn't bother me--thus call it a VG+ and often better.
The flipback sleeve is clean, bright & crisp with no splits and only the lightest wear, thus it's a VG+.
I've added a Nitty Gritty inner sleeve to the original, and slipped the jacket into a new Japanese mylar resealable outer sleeve.
