Strauss: Tod und Verklärung ("Death and Transfiguration") + Metamorphosen ("Study for 23 solo strings")
rare origianl UK vinyl LP released in the 1960s on red/black COLUMBIA stereo label with catalognumber SAX 2437. Laminated flipback cover and vinyl in pristine NEARMINT/MINT condition - perfect! Very early export pressing for the German market with STE 91193 sticker... Famous reference performances by Klemperer conducting the Philharmonia Orchestra recorded with true audiophile soundquality same as (or better?) the blue/silver SAX pressing ... see photo.
