KLEMPERER conducts WAGNER - Philharmonia (Columbia SAX2347) Green/Silver
Rare original stereo silver on green label pressing - sold in aid of the British Heart Foundation
Condition (Cover / Vinyl): EX / EX
Thic card construction flipback sleeve is in fine condition with the laminated front showing just a couple of extremely small defects to opening and lower edge, spine is perfect. Rear is nice and bright, showing a faint hint of grubbiness with undamaged flips and a small number 71 top right. No other writing anywhere. G&L sleeve undated. Labels are clean and clear with bright silver print and faint hint of spindle marks. Close examination of the vinyl surface under light reveals one light linear mark each side, neither of which affects playing, and the one on side 2 is hard to see at all. A very nice copy. Please do not bid on items and then bleat about the shipping costs, instead complain to PayPal about requiring proof of delivery (good luck). Likewise, please do not bid if you do not have the money, your PayPal is suspended, your dog has just died or you are still living with your mum - payment is required within 7 days of auction end, no timewasters please.
Grading: is generally per UK Record Collector standards and the cover will only be graded if it is specific to the record. All gradings are visual only unless stated otherwise in the comments above. If you wish to have a more full explanation of grades, look here - plain black sleeves or company sleeves are not graded. The photos were done using my A3 scanner which sometimes leaves the colours looking a bit washed out which may make dirty labels look slightly brighter.Sometimes a dot pattern or stripes shows and this is due to the interference of the scanner resolution with the dot printing of what is being scanned. It is also not that great on silver or gold print, making the print look fainter than it actually is.
