Description
Very rare vinyl white label promo of this collaboration between Jimmy Cauty of the KLF and Alex Paterson of the Orb, legend has it that Dr Alex's samples and contributions were removed by Cauty but this still has the early Orb sound all over it, and is a minimalist ambient house masterpiece, the perfect companion to the KLF's noisier 'Chill Out'.
Catalogue number is SPACELP1 on KLF Communications, and whilst there are various promos around of this album this is one of few that is housed in the generic die-cut KLF Comms sleeve, but also comes with the full picture sleeve of the eventual commercial release. There is also the typically badly xeroxed 'Distribution Girl' story/press release. The label is off-white with '33 rpm' written in red, similar to other KLF promos (perhaps the hand of Bill or Jimmy?)
Condition of the sleeve is as near mint as you could wish for, with no damage, squashing of spine etc. The vinyl hasn't been played in a while but I believe it to also be in very good condition.
ALSO as a bonus I am giving away a spare copy of KLF008R Last Train to Trancentral Pure Trance Remixes with this for free. This is one of two copies I have and is in mint condition. Vinyl has either been played just a couple of times or not at all (it is impossible to differentiate between my two copies!) Please note this is the re-released 12" of the late 90s? rather than the original issue, but is still scarce in any form.
Records will be sent with thick PVC sleeves in a mailer.
I recommend buyer selects insured post, due to the potential value of this item.
Please also note any apparent "bowing" or curvature of the edges of the sleeve in my pics are due to my camera lens!
