rare US first press 5LP boxset from 1965 on yellow/black stereo PHILIPS promotional label with catalognumber PHS5-950. Beautiful front-laminated box complete with libretto booklet and vinyl all AS NEW in pristine NEARMINT/MINT condition with clean labels and no spindelmarks! Vinyl looks UNPLAYED ... you will not find a better copy. Famous reference performance by Hans Knappertsbusch at the Bayreuth Festival 1962 conducting the Bayreuth Festival orchestra and chorus. Soloists are Jess Thomas, George London, Hans Hotter, Gustav Neidlinger, Irene Dalis, Martti Talvela and chorusmaster Wilhelm Pitz ...
