Bruckner: Symphony No.3 in D minor
rare German very first press vinyl LP released in the early/mid 1950s on orange/gold DECCA mono label (no stereo exist) with catalognumber LXT-2967.
This is the earliest possible Decca label released in Germany, with ED1 matrixnumbers: ARL.6114-1A and ARL 6115-1A ... Fantastic photo cover showing a picture of the orchestra with Walter Barylli as concertmaster, Otto Strasser (2 violins), Ernst Moraweg and Rudolf Streng (violas first desk), Alfred Boskowski, Leoplold Wlach and other well known players of the post war era of the professors. Brass players out of sight; conductor not identifiable - probably not a Decca artist.
The laminated cover is beautiful with little signs of time only and vinyl in pristine NEARMINT/MINT condition - perfect! Best copy I have seen in many years ...
