Description
This is one of the rarest PUNK / KBD singles, which for the past 15 years I have seen on many lists, but not a single copy came up for sale, the band are from the US (Nashville has been mentioned) although for many years it was unknown if this was a UK or Irish single because no one had a copy, the band is called KO, although I have also seen it on wants lists as AKO, and the single is from 1979, an original pressing !!!.
Now this single got a legendary statues after appearing on a home made cassette compilation about 18 years ago, and was rumored to be a UK band, but that was wrong, the tracks are pure AGRO PUNK sound that sound better then many of the KILLED BY DEATH tracks, 2 of the 3 tracks are first rate pure PUNK tunes.
The single came out in 1979, on the band's own WOW RECORDS, catalogue number WOW 1, ORIGINAL PRESSING !.
The songs are: SUITCASE BOMB / OUT OF CONTROL / WORRIED WORLD.
The single never came in a P/S, but this single comes with a rare stamped die cut sleeve saying FOR SALE ONLY NO PROMOTIONAL COPIES, and the condition of the VINYL is in EX++ condition (Just a notch below M- because of a couple of hazy spots not effecting play, PLAYS MINT-) !!!, THIN PAPER stamped die cut sleeve is in EX condition.
