This is an ORIGINAL 1950 MEGA RARE release titled KODALY: Sonata For Unaccompanied Cello Opus 8 / JANOS STARKER cello .  Released on the PERIOD record label in Mono SPLP-510.  The record was inspected under a bright halogen lamp and play graded for quality...awesome piece.  No skips, no jumps, no major pops...very light background floor that is lost to the music.
VINYL = EXCELLENT condition with very gentle signs of paper scuff marks or play, plenty of gloss and shine, clean labels free of writing and major spindle wear.  Graded under a bright light for defects...this one is SUPER CLEAN !!
COVER = VERY GOOS PLUS (VG+) with no seam splits, solid spine, has edge wear on upper part of spine and loss of red color on bottom seam but no splits and bottom seam has no paper loss, ring wear is light and almost masked by the artwork of Jo Hendler on front slick, the back slick has more edge wear and some numbers written in ink on top left side which do not cover text or interfere that much, no promo holes, slight wear on spine side corners.
PLAY GRADED = STRONG EXCELLENT with clean bold sounds and very low background sounds, a truly clean play.  No major ticks or pops, no skips or jumps...an awesome listen for a very rare record.
