KPM '1000 Series' Library Music
The legendary KPM '1000 series' library music LPs were produced especially for the film, television and radio industries to the highest professional standards. They featured many of the top session musicians of the day from jazz, pop, light music and other contemporary fields. The albums were fondly referred to as "Greensleeves" due to their identical looking dark green covers.
Each one of the eighteen KPM vinyl album I am listing today is one of these.
Between them, you will find composers/players such as:
Tony Hymas, Dennis Farnon, Richard Harvey, Dick Walter, David Lindup, Syd Dale, Johnny Pearson, David Lee, Keith Mansfield, Johnny Hawksworth, Laurie Johnson, Don Jackson, Jack Jordan, Peter Winslow, Edrich Siebert, John Leach, Alfred Ralston, Keith Nicholls, Don Harper, Darryl Way and Alan Hawkshaw.
As far as I know, most if not all, of the albums were previously unplayed. The vinyl is thus in beautifully shiny, mint (or near mint at the very least) condition. ALL have been played just once by me and I can confirm that ALL sound terrific and play beautifully.
Sleeves are generally more or less as good or similar (i.e. some may have a little shelf wear, some rubbing, or the odd bit of minor edge damage from movement/storage etc).
The condition of the vinyl, the inner sleeves and the outer sleeves will be clearly stated/reconfirmed in the listing. Any 'faults' I spot will be specially mentioned. All albums come with their original inner paper or poly sleeves. If any have any folds/crinkles this is how they came - this is not from careless use. ?
