German electropop pioneers Kraftwerk formed in 1970. Nearly FIFTY FIVE years ago! In the early days, the band utilized instruments like flutes and violins, eventually adding organ and then synthesizers. A few years later Kraftwerk became an experimental band who released several electropop masterpieces through the 70s and 80s!

In 1978, Kraftwerk released their seventh studio album and called it 'The Man Machine' ('Die Mensch-Maschine' in German). The first pressing's artwork is the four members' pics on the cover, in black and red (wearing lots of makeup), and the album title written in Russian, German, and French. The B side is song titles and credits. This collectible picture disc itself is a thick and heavy 180 gram vinyl record, which is in fantastic condition. All shiny and clean! I can't vouch for the sound quality as I never play specialty vinyl such as pic discs or colored records. This will come in a clear and generic PVC jacket. Picture discs for Kraftwerk do not pop up very often, and when they do, they're usually gone pretty quick. Bring this rare and scarce Kraftwerk collectible home with you today. But if you wait too long, it might go home with someone else!

Ralf Hütter is still carrying on Kraftwerk, and is the only original member left. They perform from time to time, and have even been special guests at a few festivals! Their music is lasting and enduring, and was ahead of its time when each album first came out. They have influenced countless other acts through the years, and their music still sounds great, all these years later...

(RIP Florian. You were the foundation of the band, the music, and a movement. You and Ralf helped change music forever with the albums of Kraftwerk. You are missed!)
