Kraftwerk- 'The Man Machine' LP (Capitol, India)
Extremely rare, never before seen alternate silk screen cover for this iconic album. The standard cover Indian issue is fairly easy to find but this cover is something entirely different. I found it many years ago in Kolkata and haven't seen another one since. I assume that the local pressing facility must have had some extra copies of the standard Indian pressing vinyl without covers, and an enterprising local decided to silk screen up a handful of covers. Awesome. I doubt even the most serious Kraftwerk collectors have this one. Good luck finding another copy!
Cover is an attractive VG with some light wear and a slight corner bump but no seam splits, writing, stains, etc. Solid overall, especially considering it is a fragile Silk Screen which was found on the streets of Kolkata! Vinyl grades G due to a bunch of small marks affecting Side 1 track 1 (otherwise the record would be VG+), but this is far less important: the record inside the sleeve is the same as a standard Indian pressing and it can easily be replaced. The cover itself is the rarity.
