Description
This is the ORIGINAL 1970 MONUMENT RECORDS SELF-TITLED DEBUT LP from the late great country singer / songwriter Kris Kristofferson. It is Monument Records U.S. catalog number SLP 18139. Record comes packaged inside the cover in its original Monument Records stock inner sleeve with color pictures of other then-current Monument Records LP releases.
This LP contains Kris's earliest recorded versions of his classic tunes 'Me And Bobby McGee', 'Help Me Make It Through The Night', and Sunday Mornin' Coming Down'.

Condition of record is VG with a few surface marks which cannot be felt, however there is one non-feelable surface scratch that cannot be felt but causes ticks - no skips - in most of the revolutions in the first three tracks on Side 1, necessitating the VG grading. Condition of cover is also VG with good amount of ring and contact wear and a moderate amount of wear along the edges and on the corners. Monument Records stock inner sleeve has small splits in the middle of two of its edges which I have repaired with clear tape and a couple of very small tears in tis top edge.
I have tried to price this sought after LP accurately according to its rarity and demand and also its VG condition with the above noted play issue - I've got it priced at about half of what this LP has been going for on eBay in VG+ or higher condition. This in-demand and historic LP would be a choice cornerstone addition to any country singer / songwriter record collection!
