Description
Kurt Van Arsdel has a great voice and is a great guitarist, and he puts these talents to good use on this moody, introspective Xian folk record. The last track, “Lights,” will make rockers happy, as he pulls out all the stops, to say nothing of the fuzz guitar, on this cut. Not an easy one to find—Because I Love You hasn’t yet been included in the pretty comprehensive Archivist. Privately released (no label) in the U.S. in 1981 (but don’t let the slightly later date fool you!). The cover is in G+++ and the record is in VG- condition. I send your records to you carefully packaged in a strong, OVERSIZED LP mailer (to avoid damage to the LP cover) with sturdy cardboard squares (to protect the record and the cover), but I make sure to only charge the amount needed to cover my actual costs.
