Description:

Very Rare Afro Jazz record released on the unknown 77 Records label. The music itself is Kwela, the popular dance music of South Africa in the 60's. There are 16 songs on the album, all short yet beautiful with each track featuring solos from Pukwana, Mrwebi, or McGregor and sometimes two of the three. This one is definitely a must for any fans chasing down the roots of afro beat, jazz, or funk and should be of interest to fans of the UK jazz and progressive scenes as well. Very hard to find LP here in nice condition with rare insert sheet showing the discography of the label!! NO reserve! Don't miss!!

Condition:  (record/cover/label, gradings: VG+/VG++/EX/NM)

under a bright halogen lamp record looks VG++ with a few superficially scuffs and a very few slight surface marks, still has it's gloss, plays EX  IIII  laminated cover NM, tinny wear on the upper edge only (no seamsplit), otherwise clean, insert sheet NM  IIII  labels are clean
