Hello! from another bachleor boy from Lucknow.... Oh the original one is one and only sir Cliff Richard (Sir Cliff Richard was born in Lucknow, India).

Auction is for one hard to find Kal Kahn's 78 rpm record made in India. Though there is not huge demand for Kal Kahn but the label Parlophone (usually known as Beatles' Label) is very much in demand among Beatles' collectors (Beatles India made 78 rpm costs anything from $700 to $2000). Everything you see here is taken from the actual record. Please visit my other auctions for more Cliff Richard's 78 rpms. All record have been graded on visual basis because almost all buyers want these records as collector items rather than for listening pleasure. Feel free to ask any questions.

I dont think that a single word could describe the condition of record specially Indian records, where even most of the unused records have pin point marks / small scratches due to mishandling. More than 95% area of such unused records can be graded as NM / Mint but rest of the 5% area which contains small defect is in poor condition. Result is - neither record is mint nor in poor condition.

All such defects (if present) are quoted seaparetely in condition para. Guranteed strict and detailed grading from India. The only disadvantages are :

1. All records are cleaned by triple deionized distilled water because i dont have any solution that will work on 78 rpm ( I use Discwasher D4 to clean LPs but it can not be used to clean 78 rpms because it contains alcohol). So if you use any record cleaning machine or solution specially formulated for cleaing 78 rpms, then please do it before listening to these records.

2. A sound clip from record is the best way to decribe the condition of Indian records. I have cartridges that can play 78 rpms but i dont have any turntable that can play 78 rpms. If you want to listen a clip then all i can do - is record a clip at the speed of 45 rpm on my system (Techincs SL D30 turntable and Pioneer A-447 amplifier). It will give you an approximate idea about condition of record on sound basis. Just let me know if you want the same.

Condition of Record and Sleeve : Overall condition is VG+. Clean and shiny record. Very hard to find in such a condition.
