Description
I am offering for auction this rare LP by Kaleidoscope entitled Tangerine Dream. The LP is on a black Fontana label from 1967 and is in mono.
I would grade the cover as in very good condition. As you can probably see by the photographs there are some marks on the sleeve which I will describe. Firstly, there is a small green circular price sticker on the front cover just to the left of the Fontana logo in the top right hand corner. I do not want to attempt to remove this as I do not wish to cause any damage to the sleeve. If the eventual buyer wishes to do this then that is their decision. There are also what I would describe as small paint marks on the hand of the chap on the left hand side of the picture. There are also some black ink spots on the face of the third chap from the right and a couple of specks on the LPs front cover logo. These details are really very minor, but I understand that the eventual buyer of this LP would want to get it in the best condition possible. The colour though and general condition is what I would best describe as a collector myself is very good. The rear sleeve (as this is not laminated like the front cover) has picked up a bit more dirt in the past 40 years. However there are no tears or seam splits. This is about as much as I can say. The vinyl itself is in great shape, really tidy. I've played the LP recently on my system at home and of course there is some audible surface noise, but that is all. I would grade the vinyl as again very good as per my perception of record collector grading. However if the eventual buyer wants to get it professionally cleaned, I think it would be nearer excellent.
