Kaleidoscope - Tangerine Dream (Original) Fontana STL 5448 (Stereo)
This is the original 1967 stereo release on the Fontana label. the re-issue (5 hours back TOCK005)is scarce, this original (STL 5448) is very rare indeed. It is the first release from the group which later became known as Fairfield Parlour. It represents one of the finest moments of British psychedelia.
The condition is essentially excellent. It has been well looked after although it has been played quite a lot. It displays some surface marks most of which are inaudible but every so often there is a light click or crackle. The most notable are on side two. There is a click between tracks 3 and 4 and a light 8 groove click at the end of track 4 and an even lighter, barely audible click towards the end of track 5. It is in remarkable condition for it's age.
The cover is in very good condition, the spine and corners are scuffed and worn and it has suffered a crease at the top right at some point and there are other light creases. The image is still good. It also sports a worn gold "stereo" sticker and sale sticker. The reverse has some discolouration but has no major defects.
A lovely item. I would be unhappy if it didn't get at least £50. So lets start the bidding there.
