Description
"Kamakiriad", Donald Fagen's second solo album - 12" vinyl LP with inner lyric sleeve and shop sticker all in near mint condition. Reprise 9362-45230-1, green/orange label, Alsdorf 936 245230-1-A/B in lost wax. Unusual to find this on vinyl.
I bought this when it came out, and have only played it three or four times. It's been kept carefully stored in smoke-free conditions since then; just to make sure, I make a point of cleaning every one of my records on a Moth machine before checking the sound quality. This one is immaculate - hardly a spindle mark on the label, clean, glossy vinyl, and most of all, virtually perfect, noise-free sound. It was produced by Fagen's long-time Steely Dan partner, Walter Becker, and the sound is all one would expect from these two perfectionists. The outer sleeve is also in very good condition - no wear, ring-marks or discolouration; it bears the original shop sticker showing the price in 1993. The inner lyric bag is present, correct, and as new.
