A very esteemed set of Beethoven SYMPHONIES, played by Karajan at the helm of his favorite Berlin Phil.  The 9th Symphony performance here supported by soloists Gundula Janowitz, Hilde Rossel-Majdan, Waldemar Kmentt, and Walter Berry.

Awarded the Grand Prix du Disque the year of its release, this LP box is without fault of any kind, the booklet is crisp, like new, and all 8 “alle” LPs are near mint.

Definitive performances, great recordings and sound, not to be missed.
