You are bidding on a 10 LP collection of some of Tchaikovsky's most important orchestral works brilliantly performed by maestros Herbert von Karajan with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, Claudio Abbado with the Vienna, and Bernard Haitink with the Concertgebouw. The individual performances are as follows:
Symphonies 1-3 box set ( Karajan, BPO )
Symphony 4 ( Haitink, Concertgebouw )
Symphonies 5 & 6 ( Karajan, BPO )
Violin Concerto ( Abaddo, Vienna with Nathan Milstein, soloist )
Piano Concerto #1 ( Karajan, BPO, with Lazar Berman, piano )
Serenade for Strings ( Karajan, BPO )
Nutcracker Suite ( Karajan, BPO )
All of these records are high quality German or Dutch pressings and are in near mint condition. All, with the exception of Sym. No. 4 ( which is on the Philips label ) are Deutsche-Gramophon. These are from my own collection, and I took care of my records! Most of these performances have been critically acclaimed, and they are all gathered here in one collection for you to bid on.
