Studio Album Catalogue Remastered (By Kate Bush and James Guthrie) For The First Time: Vinyl Box 1 Features The Kick Inside (1978), Lionheart (1978), Never For Ever (1980) and The Dreaming (1982)

Kate Bush will release remastered versions of her album catalogue on vinyl in November 2018. This is the first (and definitive) program of remastering undertaken by the artist and includes the release of many rarities and cover versions on the format for the first time. The vinyl albums - all Kate's studio work - will be released in four separate boxes. The albums, many of which have been unavailable on vinyl for a decade, have been remastered by Kate Bush and James Guthrie. Kate's ten studio albums are spread over three vinyl boxes, whilst the fourth box contains many rarities previously unavailable on vinyl, including a whole disc of cover versions. The total number of vinyl discs is 18. Vinyl Box 1 features The Kick Inside (1978), Lionheart (1978), Never For Ever (1980) and The Dreaming (1982). The original album artworks are retained within new artwork for the boxes.

Kate's debut, The Kick Inside was released in February 1978 and contains the UK No. 1 hit, "Wuthering Heights." The album peaked at No. 3 in the UK where it was certified Platinum. The production included contributions from Duncan Mackay, Ian Bairnson, David Paton, Andrew Powell, Stuart Elliott and David Gilmour. Kate's second effort,Lionheart was released in late 1978, reaching No. 6 in the UK and also going platinum. 1980's Never For Ever, co-produced with Jon Kelly, was Kate's first No. 1 album. It was also the first ever album by a British female solo artist to top the UK album chart, as well as being the first album by any female solo artist to enter the chart at No. 1. It has since been certified Gold. Following Kate's production assistance on Lionheart, and her co-production of Never For Ever, 1982's The Dreaming was the first album she produced on her own. The album peaked at No. 3 in the UK where it has been certified Silver.
