1st Edition Picture Disc. Superb!

Limited Edition picture disc. This is the first release of the picture disc edition (it was later re-released in the same cover and with the same catalog number) as found here: [r2117182]. This picture disc edition is housed in a clear plastic inner sleeve (with EMI Records' characteristic blue strip to the top of the right-hand side) within a full colour outer sleeve. It sports a sticker declaring that it's a picture disc. The cover is a thick cardboard and is laminated (the reissued picture disc's cover is thinner card and is not laminated). The cover has the picture disc catalogue number printed on it (adding a 'P' to the black vinyl counterpart's EMC 3223 cat number). This first edition has a circular sticker stating that it is a picture disc (usually in the top left hand corner). The second pressing (apparently aimed at the US/Canadian markets, where the first pressing had proven popular) has an oval sticker (usually top centre). The second disc also states "manufactured in the UK by EMI records Ltd." as part of the copyright notice printed on the disc. This first edition does NOT have this wording. Compared with the later re-issue, the leggings that Kate wears on the B side photo can appear from dark blue to purple. Runoff Groove on A side inscribed "Remember Yourself". According to a competition run in the UK music publication 'Record Mirror' in September 1979, there were only 3,000 pressed - see image (though this is debateable).
