I am selling off my album collection, which comprises all first issue (not reissue) pressings. When describing the condition I have adopted the Record Collector magazine’s Grading Guide and I have listened to the album all the way through so you can be confident about what you get. The pictures provided are of the actual album you are bidding on.

The Red Shoes was Kate Bush’s seventh studio album and her last before taking a 12-year hiatus. It peaked at number two on the UK album chart and went Platinum. In spite of this first pressings of the vinyl album are exceedingly rare and consequently, very collectable.

The album was notable for the many high-profile cameo appearances from other famous artists. The track "Why Should I Love You?" featured prominent instrumental and vocal contributions from Prince as well as guest vocals from comedian Lenny Henry. "And So Is Love" features guitar work by Eric Clapton, and Gary Brooker (from the band Procol Harum), and Jeff Beck also collaborated. Trio Bulgarka (who'd contributed to The Sensual World) appeared on three songs: "You're the One", "The Song of Solomon", and "Why Should I Love You?"

EXCELLENT = The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
