Description
I am selling off my album collection, which comprises all first issue (not reissue) pressings. When describing the condition I have adopted the Record Collector magazine’s Grading Guide and I have listened to the album all the way through so you can be confident about what you get. The pictures provided are of the actual album you are bidding on.

NEAR EXCELLENT CONDITION (see above and below)The Red Shoes was Kate Bush’s seventh studio album and her last before taking a 12-year hiatus. It peaked at number two on the UK album chart and went Platinum. In spite of this first pressings of the vinyl album are exceedingly rare and consequently, very collectible.
The album was notable for the many high-profile cameo appearances from other famous artists. The track "Why Should I Love You?" featured prominent instrumental and vocal contributions from Prince as well as guest vocals from comedian Lenny Henry. "And So Is Love" features guitar work by Eric Clapton, and Gary Brooker (from the band Procol Harum), and Jeff Beck also collaborated. Trio Bulgarka (who'd contributed to The Sensual World) appeared on three songs: "You're the One", "The Song of Solomon", and "Why Should I Love You?"

Condition (using Record Collector Magazine grading)
I have tried to provide good quality large pictures of the album and covers. Please take the time to click through them and satisfy yourself of the quality of this LP. The pictures should speak for themselves.
Vinyl = NEAR EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. On first inspection I graded the vinyl as EXCELLENT, but I then happened to see the disk under bright sunlight and I detected one faint surface scratch on one side. I have play-checked the album on my new record player and can't detect any deterioration in sound quality. According to the grading guide of the Record Collector Magazine grading it is better than very good so I have graded it as NEAR EXCELLENT.
Cover & Inner Sleeve = EXCELLENT: The cover and packaging has only slight wear and / or creasing consistent with age.
The album will be very well packaged and sent recorded delivery with appropriate insurance against loss or damage. I also combine postage, only ever charging at cost, so please check out my other items.
