Description
Kate Bush The Red Shoes vinyl LP catalogue number EMD 1047 7243 8 27277 1 2. Made in the UK, first issue. Matrix numbers as follows: EMD 1047 A 1-1-1/EMD 1047 B 1-1-1.
Hard to find LP version of Kate's 1993 album. Good weight outer and inner sleeves, heavy glossy vinyl.
I have graded the LP as VG plus, for following reasons.
The outer and inner sleeves are glossy and shiny, no fingerprints or other marks, likewise the inner sleeve. There are signs of play: faint spindle marks around the central hole, and light scuff marks on part of the first track of side 2 which, however, do not show up in photos. I have not test played this LP and doubt it has been played more than once judging by overall condition.
The inner sleeve is perfect in every way, the outer sleeve has some issues as follows.
On the top of the LP, there are signs of scuffing that measure 2 inches wide at the most affected part. I have tried to photograph and it actually makes the damage look worse than it is. There are two other areas with marks: above the 'e' in the word 'shoes' is a 3mm dent. On the bottom left hand side of the front of outer sleeve is a small white scuff in two parts, you have to look closely to see it.
Despite the above defects the LP is in excellent overall condition and has been carefully stored in a polythene slip case for over 20 years.
Will be shipped in its sleeve inside a custom LP mailer, marked fragile and couriered via Hermes (tracked).
