Description
Up for grabs here is a rare complete set of the Kate Bush "Cathy Demos" 7" EPs, all pressed on different coloured vinyls in numbered sleeves. Each disc was limited to 600 copies.
To-date, these remain the best way to hear the infamous Kate Bush 1976 piano demos as all CD and LP pressings of the demos come from nth generation cassette copies running at the wrong speed. As most Kate Bush collectors will know, the Cathy Demos EPs are unique in that they appear to have been pressed from the master tape, the sound quality being light years away from the other more widely available pressings. In fact, if you are only familiar with the widely circulating CDs and cassettes of these tracks, be ready to be pretty stunned by the sound quality on these discs.
Payment due within 3 days of auction's close. Good luck!
NB: Sleeves are in EX condition, some light creasing or ring-wear here and there but nothing serious, no tears, writing or stickers. Vinyls play perfectly, no scratches, warping or similar defects. Have only been played a couple of times by myself to ascertain condition. The ones in the photos are the ones you will receive.
