Here for auction: Katin, Boult play Rachmaninov's Concerto No 1. SXL 2034 ED1 UK Decca with "original recording by" label's and Blue Back Border. NM/EX+.  1K  2K matrix.

I have checked parts of both sides of the disc for sound quality on a Thorens TD160 super with SME Mk III arm and B&O MMC II cartridge, Roksan Kandy RA Mark III amp and B & W DM 603 floorstander's. I hope this gives a fair representation of the disc's quality in the description below.

Vinyl is in fine EX+ condition.Very nice disc indeed.Just one small,hard to see, drop mark on first band side 2, when viewed in strong light.This gives three or four soft tics.Only heard because piano passage is so quiet.There are no kinks or warps and disc lies flat on turntable.Otherwise the disc is beautiful and would class as NM.

Sound is beautifully clear and undistorted and there were no repetetive tics in the parts played.Disc play's with lovely silent surfaces...In fact disc sounds Awesome! A very fine copy, don't miss out if you want a great copy of this issue.

Cover is EX+ condition.Looks good. Back has some age discolouration on lower flap, but nothing bad at all. Has the original record shop sticker (Galloway & Greet 'the record specialists' Dorchester) on top flap.

Label's EX+ Could see only a few light spindle marks and there are no other marks or blemishes at all.

Original inner sleeve is EX+
