Description

Hello record collectors and vinyl junkies, I'm in the process of selling off the majority of my record collection to finance the ongoing restoration of a classic car...hopefully without going bankrupt! So please check back often, as I'll be listing hundreds of LPs over the next few months.

Anyway, let's continue with this offbeat one by Kay Martin and Her Body Guards I Know What He Wants For Christmas - But I Don't Know How To Wrap It! released by FAX Records in 1962 (FAXLP 1005 Monophonic) Original pressing on green vinyl.

From the liner notes:

Here's one of the wildest Christmas fun album you'll ever hear in this century or any other. It's strictly for adults and loaded with a daring broadside of the sexiest, most delightfully naughty songs, stories and spicy chatter ever recorded.

Kay Martin is backed on these recordings by Bill Elliott on accordion, piano, organ and backing vocals. He also did the musical arrangements. Don Miller played drums. In the mid 1950's Kay opened a motel in Reno Nevada, The Kay Martin Lodge located on Virginia Street.

This LP contains the following tracks:

  1. Hang Your Balls On The Christmas Tree
  2. I Want A Casting Couch For Christmas
  3. Come On Santa, Let's Have A Ball
  4. The Night Before Xmas Binge
  5. Santa's Doing The Horizontal Twist
  6. Santa's Going To Be Late Tonight
  7. The Girls Were All Happy
  8. I Know What You Want For Christmas

Side two contains: A fantastic panorama of on stage humor including girls should be obscene and not heard/up your chimney/newlyweds in bed/uncle fred and aunty mabel/I knew he was coming/the hard chest rub/he loves to band those bells/Minnie the college widow/she laid the cornerstone/the sex life of the camel/you're dead if you don't dig it/it's sex sex sex/you're not playing chess anymore/I used to give it away but now I have to buy it

The LP has a very light mark that is only visible under a bright spotlight but does not effect play. The cover has very light ring wear but no seam splits, writing, rips, tears or other problems.

I grade on a stricter scale than Goldmine (at least the watered down version that seems to exist here on eBay) I will take the time to describe any flaws on both the cover and record itself rather than give a letter grade that will mean something different to seemingly every record buyer and seller.

Please feel free to email with any questions but keep in mind that unless there is a "Buy It Now" price listed above, I will not respond to any questions or offers to end an auction early...Thanks for your understanding!

The fine print:

Payment is due within three days after end of the auction. I only accept payment through Paypal - if you do not have a Paypal account, please email me BEFORE bidding to inquire about alternative payment methods.

Due to overwhelming requests, I generally ship domestic packages by Media Mail. However, please keep in mind that while Media Mail is the cheapest shipping method, it is also the slowest. Media Mail can take several weeks or MORE to arrive. Media Mail shipping within the United States is $4.00 including mandatory Delivery Confirmation.

I do combine shipping for multiple purchases. The $4.00 covers between one and two albums. Additional albums (three and up) are an additional .50 cents each. Please wait for an invoice from me as the Paypal system does not calculate the combined shipping.

Overseas shipping is by Air Mail only. Shipping for one LP to Canada is $14.00 and everywhere else in the world is $20.00. Overseas shipping is by regular air mail and can take anywhere from one to four weeks to arrive. I do combine shipping on overseas purchases - I will send an invoice with the combined shipping cost if you purchase more than one LP.

Sorry I no longer ship to Italy or the Russian Federation due to the high number of "lost" packages.

All records are mailed in cardboard record mailers with cardboard inserts to prevent damage. LP will be removed from the cover to prevent seam splits while in transit.

Thanks for looking and good luck!
