Description

1991 Jamaican-pressed compilation of 1967 Keith & Tex cuts produced by Derrick Harriot on Crystal label.  This is an OG Jamaican LP I bought new from a Jamaican imports shop in Pittsburgh PA in the 1990s.  The shop keeper had a small box of records that he brought from Jamaica, he only showed them to me because I asked (the place sold a lot of shirts, sandals, and incense, plus Jamaican dancehall CD comps).  He said the music on it was for "ya grandma". Keith & Tex were the Jamaican rocksteady duo of Keith Rowe and Texas Dixon, best known for their 1967 hit "Stop That Train".
This record is NM/NM with very clean grooves, high gloss both sides, clean label, and a deep rich sound on all frequencies.  The cover is in pristine condition as well, with barely noticeable slight ringwear and one small split on the spine, see pictures for details.
