Description

Up for auction is an authentic original 1988 U.S. vinyl pressing of Keith Whitley’s landmark album “Don’t Close Your Eyes” (RCA Victor – 6494‑1‑R). This is the highly desirable Specialty Records Corporation (SP) pressing, cut at Georgetown Masters by legendary engineer Denny Purcell — widely regarded as the best‑sounding mastering of this title.

Released at the tail end of the vinyl era, clean originals are already scarce. Unplayed NM copies like this one are exceptionally rare.
