Description
Keith Whitley & Ricky Skaggs: Tribute to the Stanley Brothers, 1971, Jalyn JLP129, stereo
Rare private label LP was approved by Ralph Stanley, who wrote the notes on the back. Keith & Ricky were sixteen at the time, accompanied by Curly Ray Cline on fiddle, Jack Cook on bass, and Roy Lee Centers on banjo. Recorded January 9th, 1971. I assume it's the first edition as it doesn't say otherwise.
Record: EX; visual grading only
Jacket: EX; original shrinkwrap in place (not sealed) but torn loose on edges
Always kept in a non-smoking home.
I inherited my parents' bluegrass album collection and am putting other records up for sale, so I am happy to combine shipping if you win multiple auctions within a week or two; just let me know if you want me to hold off until the other auction on which you're bidding finishes, and don't pay until I send you an invoice. As a guideline, domestic shipping on 10 albums would be $7.95 via Media Mail.
Records are shipped in an album mailer box, with cardboard stiffeners sandwiched around the record if necessary to fill the box.
