Nights In Vienna

(HMV ASD 279 UK LP 1958)



This is a UK original Stereo LP pressing. It has a front laminated flipback sleeve which has a circular gold "Stereophonic" sticker on the front. It has its original polythene-lined company inner sleeve.

The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has white & gold HMV labels. These are grooved also. It has 1st press 2YVH 1-1 and 2YVH 2-2 matrix stampers. This is quite a rare early UK Stereo Classical LP. The vinyl is in very reasonable condition.



Sleeve: There is a 7 cm seam split at the centre area of the top edge. There is some moderate fading to the rear sleeve. There are some mild drink stains/ splats on the rear also. Good+ condition

Vinyl: There are some light to very mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are two very light hairline marks. VG+ condition. The labels are in excellent condition & show light spindle wear only. The company inner sleeve is in VG++ condition. There is some light to very mild ringwear & creasing. There are no seam splits.

I have fully play tested this LP. It plays VG+ to Near Excellent overall. There is some light or very mild crackle in some quieter places. There are a few light clicks near the start of Side 2. These do not last too long.
