Description

New Jazz 8047. Purple and silver label. New Jazz was a subsidiary of Prestige. McIntyre plays alto sax and flute; Eric Dolphy, flute, alto sax, bass clarinet; Walter Bishop Jr., piano; Sam Jones, bass; Art Taylor, drums. 6 tracks. Small punch hole on the cover for promotional copy. Cover: VG+. 3” top edge split; 11” split on spine. Small residue stain on the front cover. This is a minor observation. Back cover has a light, barely visible, partial record ring and minor aging and minor stain on the front cover from old sticker (no paper loss). Record: Mint(-). Visually shows no wear. Played only a few times but has new appearance. Except for an occasional click, very infrequent, I only heard 1 in my review. No surface noise. Fine condition. Audibly checked.
