Original 1958 UK Decca wide band groove ED1 edition. Kenneth Alwyn conducts
The London Symphony Orchestra.
 

GRADING:

Cover - Very Good

Generally clean and tidy.

A little storage wear to top and bottom seam.

Slight wear at sleeve entrance where some laminated is lifting.

There is also a piece of repair cellotape on the bottom right hand corner front that goes over to the back left hand corner, please see photos.

Small 'W' written on the rear of sleeve near top right. 

Record - Very Good

'ORIGINAL RECORDING BY' at 10 o'clock on label.

Wide band with groove stereo label.

Matrix numbers are ZAL 3975-5E numbers are ZAL 3976-3E.

Labels are clean and tidy with some spindle marks visible but no writing etc.

Some storage scuffing and hairlines.

Plays well but there are a couple of pops on each side and some light back ground noise. 
 

Our grading is based on the system used by Record Collector magazine as described below (We don't sell records with a grading of less than very good).

Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Record will be sent in a cardboard cruciform record mailer with additional cardboard stiffeners for extra protection. The record is also placed in a protective polythene sleeve. The record/inner will be removed from the main sleeve to guard against any seam/spine damage during postage.
