Description
Kenny Burrell, BLUE LIGHTS VOL 2, Blue Note BST 81597
Personnel are: Guitar - Kenny Burrell, Piano - Bobby Timmons, Duke Jordan, Tenor Saxophone - Junior Cook, Tina Brooks, Bass - Sam Jones, Drums - Art Blakey.
The recording was issued in 1958 in 2 volumes as separate and distinct LPs - This is the 2nd LP only (VOL 2). This copy was purchased in 1969 and was pressed between 1964 (when Liberty acquired Blue Note Records) and 1969. It was electronically re-recorded from the original to simulate stereo apparently by Rudy Van Gelder since his name is listed on the album jacket as "recorded by". His name does not appear in the dead wax however.

I am not a record grader and cannot assess the playability except to say that I am the original owner of the LP and it has been played no more than 2 or 3 times.
I did not see any scratches.
The cover is in excellent condition with some wear on the corners from being moved around. There is some slight notching along the opening.
