Description

Kenny Burrell - Midnight Blue - MONO - Blue Note BLP 4123 - ear - VAN GELDER - no DG - 1967
Vinyl: VG- Some visible scratches but plays all the way through with no skipping or repetitive clicks. The main issue is that some tracks have some groove wear that sounds like some pronounced background static when notes are loud or high frequency. This is especially obvious to me on "Soul Lament". Mostly plays through pretty well with light background noise in spots. I still have enjoyed listening but be sure to pass on this one if these issues will bother you. I have lowered the grade accordingly.
Cover: Poor Rough cover with paper loss on front and back. Mostly split on bottom seam. Seam and spine wear.
This edition has New York USA labels. It does not have a deep groove on either side.
