Kenny Dorham Octet/Sextet "Afro-Cuban" on Blue Note BLP 1535, lexington address, deep groove, "RVG" (etched) and "ear" in dead wax, no "E" under e in "Blue Note", no "INC", original mono first pressing. Released in 1956, this is one of the very most sought after Blue Note lp's. Featuring Dorham, Jay Jay Johnson, Hank Mobley, Cecil Payne, Horace Silver, Oscar Pettiford, Carlos "Potato" Valdes, Art Blakey, and Percy Heath, this is one of the most beautiful works of jazz you'll find.
