Description

Title : 'Round about midnight at the Cafe Bohemia

Format : 33 rpm long playing record

Country of Manufacture : USA

Label : Blue Note 1524

Condition, Cover : VG-, Vinyl : EX-, Labels : EX+.

Description :

I'm letting go one of my most reasured records ever and ere's your chance to win this massively rare and very sought after Kaydee Lp. It's the heavy deep-grooved first press Blue Note release with the Lexington address !!!

It's one of KD's most celebrated recordings ever with an amazing lineup including Kenny Burrell, J.R Monterose, Bobby Timmons, Sam Jones and the relatively unknown Arthur Edgehill on drums.

The unlaminated cardboard cover in VG- condition : Previous owner has written his name on back side (see pics). Both seams are split but the spine still hangs well, i thought of using sellotape but then decided to leave it as it is, just in case the winner has a better way of repairing it. Also a bit of wear at corners and edges.

The record was entirely played for accurate grading : It plays very well and sounds GREAT throughout in spite of a few superficial marks from age and playing that do not affect playing at all. It is in EX- if not better !!!

For maximum listening pleasure i would recommend a professional cleaning with a VIP or Loricraft, unfortunately nobody has one here in Lebanon : (

The labels are super clean, no writings, stickers or anything.         RVG stamp (Rudy Van Gelder) at run-off areas.
