Kenny Dorham (t), J.R. Monterose (ts), Kenny Burrell (g) Bobby Timmons (p), Sam Jones (b), Arthur Edghill (d) Recorded 1956
The record looks VG++/M- and plays M-. Side 1 has 2 small areas of scuffing on Tracks 2 and 3 which do not affect play. Side 2 is clean, no scuffs and no scratches. Grooves are bright, glossy and do not show wear or damage and look unplayed or nearly so.
The cover is VG++, near M-.
The front cover looks bright and shiny with just slightest hint of ring wear. Tiny wear spots and slight denting at the corners. The back cover is glossy with no significant wear. No split seams. Spine is intact and readable.
Black lines that might be visible at bottom left and top right in pictures are due to photo cropping and not on record.
I WILL NOT END AUCTIONS EARLY. PLEASE DO NOT ASK.
My highest grade is M- and I rarely grade 50s or 60s records M-. Records are graded visually using the Goldmine system. M-, VG++, VG+, VG, VG- etc. I play grade any potential problem areas. I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws. You will be satisfied. No hassles.
