Description
From Japan, this is Blue Note / King Records GXK8013 (BLP 1524),Kenny Dorham 'Round About Midnight At The Cafe Bohemia, a blue and white, microgroove labeled, audiophile mono copy of this wonderful record featuring JR Monterose, Bobby Timmons and Kenny Burrell. This is from my personal collection and was bought new by me. The record is in VG++ condition showing almost no sign of wear and playing quietly throughout. The reason the record is not rated near mint is that it has one circular blemish caused by cleaning the record with a faulty platter pad on the Keith Monk Record Cleaning Machine. This does not effect the play. The cover has some light spine wear but is excellent and intact as is the Japanese language notes/discography insert. The labels are excellent and show no spindle marks. The record was cleaned on a Keith Monk Machine and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. This is an excellent, collector's grade copy of this wonderful mono issue. Please check our other listings as we discount shipping for multiple orders. Thanks for looking.
