Round About Midnight At the Cafe Bohemia Kenny Dorham Blue Note 1524 mono. RVG and ear. Lexington Ave on label and cover. Very thick vinyl. Deep groove both sides.

Recorded live in the village in 1956 this record is one of the cornerstones of hard bop. Hard to find. Condition: Cover: VG 2" seam split at top. All edges bumped Name on front and back. Labels: VG+ Name on front and back. Lex Ave. Vinyl: VG/VG- One feelable scratch that causes a nano-skip on side 1. Some superficial hairlines. Surface noise and dust pops that improve towards the dead wax. Bright, full Van Gelder sound. Would likely be improved with a professional cleaning. This would right for somebody who wants a first press and is waiting for a cleaner copy to come around.
