Description
This the original pressing (ridge, not a deep groove) of Kenny Dorham “Blue Spring” on the blue and silver reel-logo labels of Riverside RLP 12-297. The playing surface on Side 1 has two small inaudible marks, but is otherwise in beautiful condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once. The coated cover is bright and clean throughout; 1/8” rubbing on the top seams, at the opening; ¼” wear on the bottom seam, at the opening. Personnel include Cannonball Adderley, Cecil Payne, Cedar Walton, Paul Chambers, and Philly Joe Jones. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PAYPAL. Please do not bid unless you are comfortable providing credit card information directly. The “Blue Note Records” book – “A Guide for Identifying Original Pressings” is now available on eBay.
