Description
This is the original deep-groove pressing of Kenny Drew “This is New” on the white and blue reel-logo labels of Riverside RLP 12-236. Side 1 has two tics at the intro and the last track has an inaudible scuff and what appears to be a pressing flaw that produces a single tic; Side 2 has two small inaudible hairlines; a high luster; no groove wear; perhaps played once. The laminated cover is in excellent condition - clean and bright throughout – with ¼” wear at the top left corner and ¼” wear on the top seam, at the opening.
Personnel include Donald Byrd, Hank Mobley, Wilbur Ware, and G.T. Hogan.
