Description
From Japan, this is CBS Sony SOPL 108 XJ Kimiko Kasai with Gil Evans Orchestra, an orange and white label original Quadraphonic issue from 1972, featuring Billy Harper, Marvin Peterson, and Kohsuke Mine. The record, cover (still in shrink wrap, with original banner)) and 2 inserts are all near mint, showing almost no signs of wear. A wonderful copy, in this rare Quadraphonic format. This record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. This is one of many Japanese jazz records I will be listing over the next few days. They come from the estate of Gerald Oshita, a San Francisco based saxophonist who lived and worked in Japan as well. Please check our other listings as we will discount shipping on multiple orders. Thank you.
