Description

An original 2nd issue of ITCOTCK on the UK pink rim Island label from 1971. Matrix 3/3. Etching Porky/Pecko. The heavy set vinyl comes housed an original gatefold cover which still shows the original Island address as 'Basing Street'.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In great condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of marks - one of which is getting feelable. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback with one slight deviation. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Interference is minimal and infrequent. All we detected was a few crackles in the first minute of Moonchild which seems to be triggered by the mark mentioned above. If you can live with this then you will be totally wowed by the remaining 98% of the record. Astonishing transparency and perfectly clean - this Peckham cut is an absolute killer. A beautiful rendition and mighty impressive.
Cover (Ex) In great shape and has clearly been looked after down the years. Nice clean front and back with barely a crease evident. The interior is immaculate. There's a bit of edge wear, but nothing serious. The text on the spine is all still legible. Overall the over retains perfect rigidity.
