authentic 1969 U.S. white-label promo, cut and pressed prior to commercial retail stock — an extremely desirable early Atlantic press, exhibiting superb dynamic range and true first-generation master lacquer lineage. 💎 CONDITION VINYL: VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) COVER: VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) (still solid and square; edge wear and corner rubs, handling toning consistent with age; sticker fully intact with a small tear; spine text legible) 🧾 NOTES FOR COLLECTORS

  • Earliest U.S. promotional issue (Atlantic Records, 1841 Broadway address).

  • Cut at Atlantic Studios (AT) by in-house engineer; both sides show early lacquer codes “-C/-C”.

  • Factory pressed by Presswell (Ancora, NJ) — denoted by “PR” on labels.

  • Hand-etched mastering initials “PZ AT” and plating mark “W” in run-outs confirm Atlantic Studios origin.

  • The red title overprint and yellow promo sticker identify this as a genuine first-wave promo, distributed to U.S. FM stations weeks before the public release (October 1969).

  • Among the most collectible U.S. issues, second only to the UK Island pink “i” first press in rarity.
